The documents above are originals that I created, and they demonstrate my knowledge of the subject I had to know about what I was teaching and writing. #13 The teacher will demonstrate professionalism. I feel that the quality and style of the documents I have created are very professional looking. #14 The teacher will demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. I am very proud of the way I adapted material from textbook companies into more accessible assignments for the students. #16 The teacher demonstrates appropriate assessment and evaluative techniques for measuring student success. As I discussed in my reflection, I must confess I am a fan of tests. While pencil-and-paper work is certainly not the best way to teach let alone for students to learn, but at the end of the day in today's standardized test-drive society, the reality is that students will inevitably have to translate what they know into a standardized assessment. For this reason I feel it is important to create high-quality, authentic paper-and-pencil tests so that students will be familiar with the testing environment and so that teachers can know how well to expect their students to do on tests.
