#3 The teacher demonstrates the ability to plan and evaluate materials appropriate for instruction. In addition to Multiple Intelligences, I also use VARK, a questionnaire designed to identify whether students are audio, visual or kinesthetic learners. I plan and evaluate materials according to the results. For example, when I discovered that the majority of my students were kinesthetic learners, I incorporated more hands-on activities into the curriculum.

#6 The teacher will group students who vary in rate, compatibility, ability and style of learning. I have also used the results of this questionnaire to create small groups for a small-group project. Students were put into groups based on their style of learning.
